Welcome to Laika Veterinary Services LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By using our mobile veterinary services or accessing our website, www.laikavet.care (the "Site"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services.

1. Services Provided

  • Laika Veterinary Services LLC provides mobile veterinary services, including but not limited to acupuncture, laser therapy, herbal medicine, and comprehensive consultations.

  • All services are provided in accordance with Washington State laws and the highest standards of veterinary care.

  • Services are available by appointment only. Emergency services are not provided at this time.

2. Appointments and Cancellations

  • Scheduling: Appointments must be scheduled in advance through our website, phone, or email. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Cancellations: We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

  • No-Show Policy: If you fail to show up for a scheduled appointment without prior notice, a no-show fee may be charged.

3. Payment Terms

  • Payment Due: Payment for services is due at the time of the appointment. We accept cash, credit cards, and electronic payments through our approved payment processors.

  • Pricing: All prices for services are provided at the time of booking and are subject to change. Additional fees may apply for travel or specialized services.

  • Late Payments: Invoices not paid within 3 days may incur a late fee. Persistent non-payment may result in the termination of services.

4. Medical Records and Privacy

  • Medical Records: We maintain confidential medical records for each patient. These records will be kept in compliance with Washington State law and may be shared with other veterinary professionals or insurance companies as necessary for your pet's care.

  • Privacy Policy: Your privacy is important to us. We will not share your personal information with third parties except as required by law or as necessary to provide our services. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your pet's health history, behavior, and any known conditions. This information is crucial for providing appropriate care.

  • Pet Safety: You are responsible for ensuring a safe environment for both your pet and the veterinary professional during the appointment. This includes securing other animals and providing a calm, controlled space for treatment.

  • Follow-Up Care: You agree to follow the recommended treatment plans, including any prescribed medications or therapies, and to keep us informed of any changes in your pet's condition.

  • Additional Pets: You understand that other pets in the household will be charged an additional fee to answer questions about, examine, consult on, or treat an additional pet ($100) in my household during this visit.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Laika Veterinary Services LLC will make every effort to provide the best possible care for your pet. However, we cannot guarantee specific results and are not liable for any outcomes that are beyond our control.

  • We are not responsible for any damages or losses resulting from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of income, data, or any other consequential, incidental, or indirect damages.

7. Changes to Services or Terms

  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any of our services, or to update these Terms and Conditions, at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our Site.

  • Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

8. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Washington State.

9. TELE-MeDicine

The veterinarian must have sufficient knowledge of the animal(s) to initiate, at a minimum, a general or preliminary diagnosis of the medical conditions of the animal(s). This means the veterinarian:

  • (i) Has examined the animal(s) within the last year, or sooner if medically appropriate

  • The veterinarian shall not establish a veterinary-client-patient relationship solely by telephonic or other electronic means. However, once established, a veterinary-client-patient relationship may be maintained between medically necessary examinations via telephone or other types of consultations.
